Don't know what's up with the Fat Bastards bit, other than it's one of my favored brands of Shiraz.

I am here to report, however, that I am ready, so bring it on you fat bastards!!

Both of my syllabi and assignment schedules have been revised, tweaked, proofed and Xeroxed.

All of the handouts that need to be distributed during the first week of classes have been made up and Xeroxed.

(And, by the way, copying really sucks. I loathe copying and find it tedious beyond all comprehension! Particularly since our Xerox machine collates but doesn't staple--which is actually a vast improvement from our prior Xerox machine which didn't even collate, and which involved mucho hassle and paper tray contortions should you actually want to save paper by making double-sided copies.)

Tech support has been dispatched to install Adobe Writer on the new computer so that I can start scanning in course materials next week. (It's not that I'm incapable of installing my own software, but somehow they've set up the computer so that I apparently don't have the authorization to install new software. Fat Bastards!!)

I've put in an electronic ticket requesting a TV/DVD player set up for hardcore porn the first evening of my sex ed seminar.

The main course blog for the graduate seminar is up and running, and I've posted the course syllabus, as well as the first reading assignment.

And now I'm heading out today to do an out-of-town reading.

I've got my game face on. So bring it on, I say. Bring it on!!!
